Sam Guillemot alias S4m is a french self-taught artist who lives in Paris.
His main activity is cameraman chief operator, but he grew up in an artistic environment, and never far from his pencils and brushes.
After having tried several techniques, he started a couple of years ago a work on portraits drawn with ballpen on newspapers, influenced by street art and directly inspired by his lightworking, while shooting pieces for TV.
Sam is inspired as well by famous people and by unknown, of the light on the faces expresses something. The papers on which he draws have a crucial role and are often related to the subject, and create a subtile alchemy between the snapshot and the texts whose first goal is supposed to be very short-lived.
